I love the Romanian Point Lace, they are beautiful. Thank you so much for the patterns, I hope I can do them, lolol, I sew- knit- crochet, but no lacing of any kind, lolol.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17189052218913866253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3454114902107007909.post-27495250865606968922014-07-03T20:08:00.324-03:002014-07-03T20:08:00.324-03:00Sometimes things like that just don't work out...Sometimes things like that just don't work out. Best to move onto to things you are good at. You definitely have great sewing skills so keep on doing things that bring you lots of rewarding times. You certainly have great skill at many other things. Now onto buying just the right dress to suit you. I am sure it is out there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3454114902107007909.post-14772964362143820262014-07-03T19:23:46.192-03:002014-07-03T19:23:46.192-03:00Oh Gail, I feel your pain. Like you, it was for a special occasion and I did it all right with care and lots of time invested. If it called for basting by hand, I did it. I interlined and used all the tips I read about in Threads magazine. The resulting dress was wadded up before it was completed and off to the dress shop I ran. I am not a svelte size so I was sure that wouldn't find what I wanted but I did and won't attempt anything more complicated than pajamas again. Quilting is much more rewarding.Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03828277633504135009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3454114902107007909.post-67632776503755060602014-07-03T18:21:17.153-03:002014-07-03T18:21:17.153-03:00Ugh. I kept hold of the material for years, because I hated to throw it out, but it was cut in such a way, there was nothing else I could really use it for. Finally threw out the remaining material when I last moved. Sadness! Feels like such a waste. Hate that!PaintedThreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07430500003121265452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3454114902107007909.post-40583823334592739332014-07-03T18:05:58.522-03:002014-07-03T18:05:58.522-03:00Perhaps a different pattern? Sometimes patterns are just not right.Doloreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00013261733996949731noreply@blogger.com
