Vatican Museum quilted floors

Just have alook at these floors of the Raphael room in the Vatican Museum.  Aren't they wonderful.   The floors in the Sistine Chapel were wonderful too, from what i could see.  There were many people and most were looking up at the beautiful ceilings.  But no photography was allowed.

I must admit to doing exactly the same think when I was in Rome, much to my husband and son's amusement.

Wow! Amazing designs. Makes one think of the ole chicken and egg question...which came first - the floors or the quilts?? Thanks for sharing these pics with us Gail. Hope you're having a great time...

Wow, wouldn't it be amazing to have a floor like that in your kitchen?? I'd never want to leave the room. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos.

Interesting post as for me. It would be great to read more concerning that theme. The only thing it would also be great to see on this blog is a few pictures of any gizmos.
