Happy Birthday Emily!!

Emily is now 7 years old.

This is a picture of me with Emily and Grampie sitting on her new French Rose quilt at the cottage. The quilt was our gift to Emily for her 7th birthday. It was a hot, hot day. After we spent the afternoon sipping on ice tea and sunning ourselves on the deck, we drove to Moncton. We tried Emily's quilt on her bed. It fit perfectly. Here's a picture of Em and her mother Carrie trying out the quilt on the hottest day of the year. Jessica and Emily also tried out the quilt.

At Emily's official birthday party, she had 6 of her closest friends join her at the Dairy Queen for a yummy party with ice cream cake. What could be better on a hot, hot birthday.
