How much entertainment can $2.00 give?

At the Melbourne Quilt show last week, there was a used book and magazine table. They had boxes and boxes of older quilt magazines that were donated by their members. The girls behind the table said they had sold over half of the used magazines already. They were selling them 5 for $1.00. What a steel. I picked up 10 of the McCall's Quilting magazines. I really like that magazine but I've never subscribed to that magazine.

That's a lot of entertainment that I'll get out of that $2.00. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

All the quilt shows in South Florida have that bargain table....I have a fairly extensive library as a result. This a,m. I am off to the Fort Lauderdale quilt show.

I am curious, you mentioned that you had too much fabric. Just how much is too much? (I still have space in my studio, so I guess I am not there!!!)

Lucky you to get to see such a spectacular show while on vacation. Sounds like your hubbie enjoys it to which is a plus. Great to get updates on your trip. Congrats on your prize for the eco suggestion in the Spring QC magazine. I never did find exactly what your suggesiton was. Lucy

Hi Gail: I saw that you won a nice little package of "goodies" for your "green tip" in the Quilting Connection magazine. Congratulations. I am enjoying your blog, but I am looking forward to your getting back home, as I need some more help with mine. Music, pictures, etc....Have a great 3 more weeks, and a good trip back...we are heading to NH this weekend for a few days...
