St. Anthony's Quilt - Hand Quilting - November 2011

I think I'll post a picture of our progress on the St. Anthony's Stars quilt on the first Wednesday of each
month... This is our second Wednesday of hand quilting.  The borders take the longest, but aren't they coming out beautiful.   Each of the 4 borders is about 30% done.   Yesterday, we had a surprise visit from our friend Cecile G.  She dropped in and sat in and hand-quilted with us for an hour. We were thrilled to see her.   She quilted as much in an hour, as we did in 3 hours.  But we are beginners, and we do talk a lot...

We decided we LOVE surprise visitors.  So, here's an invitation.  If you are ever in the Devon area on a Wednesday afternoon between 1 and 4, please drop in to surprise us. We are at St. Anthony's Church, right across the street from Jean Coutu Pharmacy.  Enter using the wheelchair ramp door.

So, I wonder who will come next Wednesday for a visit...

Will it be you!

Alas, I wish I could but it's a long drive from Brockville to Fredericton. I think the chatting is just as much fun as the stitching when it's with a group of friends. I love your choice for this year's raffle.
