Knitting Gauntlets

I love to knit.  Even though I haven't knit in about a year, I thought of myself as a very experienced knitter.   Until NOW!!

I bought some Kroy last week, and decided I'd knit up a pair of fingerless mittens (aka gauntlets) to use specifically when I walk at the Willie O'rena.  I will use them to work my Ipod.   I got the pattern from my sister's MIL, but it's a toughie pattern.   I thought I could knit them while Baby Aurora was here over New Years, but I couldn't get past row 8.

So, I'll pick them up again  this evening and see if I can make heads or tails of the pattern.

How interesting that you are knitting these, as they are on the top of my "to do" list for 2011. I'd like them for shooting quilts outside. I plan to use up my odds and ends of Kroy from past projects, so will have a stripy pair. Can't wait to see yours!

Sounds like my experience "trying" to knit socks last winter. I never did figure out how "easy" it was to do so. Lucy
