Years ago, I used to buy Kraft Oil and Vinegar salad dressing. This was my favorite dressing...I could drink this stuff right out of the bottle. For some reason, about 15 years ago, grocery stores stopped selling this. I assumed that Kraft had stopped making it. But 
last fall, just about the time that we're closing up the cottage, I was in a little vegetable stand nearby, and there it was, sitting on a shelf. Kraft Oil and Vinegar. I bought it and I just couldn't believe that this little veggie stand had it. Along with all the vegetables and fruits, they carry about 15 products, milk, eggs, sugar, butter, pies, chips, ice cream and 3 different salad dressings. I picked up the oil and vinegar, looked at the expiry date, thinking, could they be selling 15 year old stock? Expiry date good... - at least for another month. I asked the cashier where she got it, and she said that the owner got it at Costco. I don't go to Costco, but I was pleased that it still existed.

Then today, I was in Shoppers Drug Mart, picking up toothpaste and the like and we happened to be out of crackers, so I went down the 10 feet grocery aisle, and guess what was there. Yep, Kraft Oil and Vinegar. About 10 bottles... now 7 bottles. I'll be sure to let Shoppers know that I'm pleased that they carry it, and if they continue to carry it, they'll see me in there every week or 2 to get my supply!

I don't enjoy oil and vinegar.. well, I like oil, but not vinegar.. bring some with you to enjoy on your salads here...

Sounds yummy! I belong to costco and we have a Shopper's Drug Mart...I will have to have a look.
I live in the US and had it for the first time while visiting family last Christmas. It was awesome. I believe it was purchased at A&P. Would love to know where to buy it down in the US. I've looked everywhere here and can't seem to find it and can't get enough of it. Guess I will need to visit family more often. ! :)
I could drink this stuff right from the bottle as well. I've been on the search for it for a couple years now. Kraft Canada just emailed me and said it was discontinued. I still won't give up hope and I'm waiting to stumble onto a stash somewhere. Please post the location if anyone finds any. I live in BC.
I was in Ontario, Canada last month and found all kinds of it at the Loblaws store in Pickering. Maybe your local Loblaws can get it for you. I bought 10 bottles to bring back to the US with me :)
If this is the same product I loved in the '70s and '80s, it was my favorite dressing, and I, too, could drink it right from the bottle. I haven't seen it in years but will try to locate it. Thanks for the post.
Just spoke with Kraft Consumer Affairs, and they informed me it's still available in Canada, but not the USA. Doggone it!
I just found and bought some in Winfield BC. I'm glad it's back! And you guys are right, I do drink it straight...maybe not from the bottle, but at least from the salad bowl.
