Happy Canada Day

There are lots of activities for the whole family downtown on the green this afternoon and evening.

And I get a special treat!  My sister and her hubby are coming for a visit from Nova Scotia.    We'll make a special red and white BBQ for supper and have a red and white desert.   OK... that translates to Chicken shish-kabobs with red peppers and tomatoes, and of course Strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.

And what are you doing to celebrate Canada Day?

Watching the East York parade, as we always do, and then heading up to the park, as we always do, to see the activities (games for the little ones, food and community vendors.) Then later, maybe watching the fireworks at the park or staying at my son's who is having a BBQ.
